On February 11, 2026, at approximately 6:38 p.m., officers responded to a Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Crash at E Mallory Avenue and Latham Street. Upon arriving on scene, officers found that a hit-and-run driver struck a male pedestrian riding a bicycle and fled the scene. The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries on scene. The investigation revealed that a black or green Dodge Ram four-door pickup truck was traveling eastbound on E. Mallory Avenue and struck the pedestrian near Latham Street. The pickup truck fled the scene, traveling east on E Mallory Avenue. The vehicle may have sustained damage to the front end and the passenger-side mirror. This is an ongoing investigation. No arrest has been made at this point.
