On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a bank robbery at Regions Bank at 1415 Union Avenue. A male suspect walked in holding a piece of an AT&T electrical box. He walked up to a bank teller and demanded that the teller give him all the money. He got aggressive and threatened to shoot the teller if he did not get the money. He grabbed an employee in the lobby, held the piece of metal to her side, and threatened to hurt her. He was given cash, and he fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was a medium build Black male, approximately 6’0″, wearing a white hard hat, a black deadlock wig, googles, a surgical mask, a long-sleeve blue shirt with white lettering on the back, dark pants, dark boots, and dark gloves.
