On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at Circle K at 4010 Austin Peay Highway. Officers were advised that a lone male entered the business. He pulled up the lower portion of his shirt over his face and attempted to jump over the counter, but was stopped by the clerk. The suspect then approached the clerk and attacked her. The suspect then jumped back over the counter and began taking cigarettes from the display shelf. The suspect fled from inside the store with the cigarettes and got into a dark colored Chevy Trailblazer and drove away.

The suspect wore a black t-shirt, gray jogging pants, and brown shoes.
