A robbery investigation resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of three firearms, including two illegally modified with conversion devices commonly known as “switches”. Officers also recovered felony narcotics and evidence linking the suspects to two separate robberies.

On July 11, 2026, officers located a 17-year-old juvenile wanted for an aggravated robbery in the 3500 block of Mynders Avenue at an apartment in the 3200 block of Danville Circle. Emmanuel Ward, 19, was also located inside the residence. He had been identified as a suspect in a separate aggravated robbery in the 800 block of S. Highland Street.

Investigators executed a search warrant at the apartment and recovered three firearms, including two that had been illegally modified with conversion devices commonly known as “switches,” approximately 253 grams of marijuana, six oxycodone pills, digital scales, and evidence connected to the Mynders Avenue robbery.

The investigation determined the juvenile was in possession of the recovered firearms, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also developed evidence showing the juvenile and Ward committed the aggravated robbery in the 800 block of S. Highland Street together.

A third suspect, a 16-year-old juvenile, was later identified and charged as well.

As a result, the 17-year-old juvenile was charged with:
