On Sunday, July 6, 2025, between 4:15 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., a robbery occurred at Third Street and Beale Street outside the Rum Boogie Cafe. Officers were advised that a Black male pulled a handgun on two victims. The suspect pushed one of the victims against a wall and demanded the victim’s property. The suspect got a gold chain and a wallet. He fled the scene. The male suspect was with two other individuals. The suspects fled eastbound on Peabody in a black Ford pickup truck.

Suspect #1 was a tall, thin Black male. He had dreads pulled into a ponytail. He wore a blue and white shorts set and white shoes. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 was a tall, thin Black male. He had dreads and wore a gray t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and white shoes. He was unarmed.

Suspect #3 was a short Black female. She had long dyed braids and wore a green cap, a white tank top, and blue jeans. She was unarmed.
