On June 23, 2025, at 3:06 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting at Lori James Boutique at 4544 Poplar Avenue. Officers were advised that the store conducted an inventory and noticed several high-end items were missing. The video inside the store was reviewed and showed a female suspect taking several items valued at over $3,000.00.

The suspect was a Black female with blonde hair. She wore a black sweater, maroon pants, and carried a black purse.
