On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 6:50 p.m., officers responded to a theft from a building at 2700 North Germantown Parkway at Macy’s. Officers were advised that while the victim was trying on clothing in the dressing room, he had left his wallet and a large amount of cash in his pants pocket and walked out of the dressing room. Upon returning to the dressing room, he discovered his pants had been tampered with, and both his wallet and cash were missing.
The victim subsequently made eye contact with the suspect, described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a white, red, and blue shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes with white trim around the bottom. Upon eye contact, the suspect fled on foot. The victim chased and confronted the suspect, who returned the victim’s wallet but did not return the cash.
