On February 18, 2026, at 12:10 a.m., officers responded to a theft from motor vehicle at 3614 Watkins Street. Officers were advised that the suspect went inside the victim’s vehicle and took his black backpack, containing his black Taurus 38mm handgun (no serial number, wallet, and car keys). The victim had a air tag in his backpack and was able to track it. While officers were on the scene the victim got a notification from his bank advising him that the card was used at 3427 N Watkins, Lovely Food Market.
