On December 19, 2025, officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Raines Road, where they located a male victim who was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

Homicide investigators worked diligently to identify three of the suspects responsible for this incident.

In January, members of the Fugitive Unit located and arrested a juvenile in connection with the case, and he was charged with Second-Degree Murder.

Investigators later secured indictments for 20-year-old Bobby Northington and 18-year-old Michael Boddie, also charging them with Second-Degree Murder.

On March 25, 2026, the Raines Station Task Force located and arrested Northington and Boddie in the 700 block of West Raines Road.

One suspect still remains unidentified at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
