On Friday, August 29, 2025, at approximately 11:05 a.m., officers responded to a robbery of an armored truck at 1212 East Shelby Drive. A Loomis armored truck stopped at the Kroger for a cash pickup. As the armored truck messenger got out of the back of the truck, a black Nissan Murano pulled behind the armored truck, two suspects armed with AR-style rifles got out, and forced the armored truck hopper to the ground. A third suspect, armed with an AR-style rifle, then entered the truck, grabbed two large bags filled with cash, and all three suspects got back into the Nissan Murano and fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen northbound on Elvis Presley towards Raines Road. The Nissan Murano was displaying an unknown temporary tag at the time of the incident.

Suspect #1 was a thin-built Black male wearing a black hoodie, white pants, and he was armed with an AR-style rifle.

Suspect #2 was a thin-built Black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and he was armed with an AR-style rifle.

Suspect #3 was a thin-built Black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and he was armed with an AR-style rifle.
