On December 11, 2024, at approximately 12:05 p.m., officers responded to a fatal pedestrian hit and run at East Mallory Avenue near Latham Street. Officers located a male pedestrian who had been struck while crossing the street. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. The responsible driver fled the scene westbound on East Mallory. The vehicle, possibly an Infiniti G37, appears to be black and has heavy front-end and hood damage.
