On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a critical pedestrian hit-and-run crash at West Brooks Road and Gilmore Road.

Upon arriving on the scene, officers found that a hit-and-run driver had struck a male pedestrian and fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries. The investigation revealed that a possible white Infiniti was traveling eastbound on West Brooks Road when it struck the pedestrian. The hit-and-run vehicle will have front-end damage and was last seen going eastbound on West Brooks Road.
