On Monday, November 17, 2025, at 2:09 pm, officers responded to a shooting at 2760 North Germantown Parkway. Officers arrived and located a male victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased. The male suspect fled the scene in a white SUV. He was detained in the 1700 block of Combs Street. The victim and suspect were involved in an altercation before the shooting.
Yahir Mejia, 22, was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder.
