Homicide Suspect Arrested: 4600 Block of Elvis Presley Boulevard

On April 19, 2026, at 1:41 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Elvis Presley Boulevard. An 18-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Preliminary information indicated that two suspects fled the scene in a black Mercedes GLK.

On April 20, 2026, MPD’s Mt. Moriah Station Task Force located the suspect vehicle in the area of North Germantown Parkway and Walnut Grove Road. The vehicle was later observed at a business in the 8100 block of Walnut Grove Road, where officers made contact with the driver, a 17-year-old male, who was the sole occupant. He was taken into custody without incident.

The 17-year-old has been charged with First-Degree Murder in the Perpetration of a Robbery.
