On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9:03 p.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 2500 block of Wellons Avenue. Officers were advised that two armed Black males forced their way into the victim’s home and held him at gunpoint. One suspect had a black Glock handgun, and the other was armed with an AR style pistol. The suspects demanded to know where his money was and struck the victim. They took several items, including currency, phones, and designer shoes. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.
