On Friday, June 27, 2025, at 4:35 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 1200 block of Evergreen Street. Officers were advised that two victims were standing outside of their apartment when the suspects drove by in a white Nissan Maxima. One of the suspects hung out of the rear passenger side window and opened fire on the victims with a rifle. The victims were struck multiple times and were rushed to the hospital. The suspects fled the scene eastbound on Chelsea Ave. The Nissan Maxima had a drive-out tag, black rims, and a black see-through roof.
