On Monday, August 11th, 2025, at 1:27 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 1500 Block of David Street. Officers were advised that the victim observed the suspect attempting to exit the business without paying for merchandise. The victim advised that when he tried to stop the suspect from leaving the business, the suspect lifted his shirt up and displayed a black handgun in his waistband. The victim advised that he backed away from the suspect when this occurred. The victim advised that the suspect’s action placed him in fear for his life.
