On Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 1900 block of Ezell Street. Officers were advised that the suspect started an argument with the victim about music. The suspect then began yelling at the victim and making threats to kill her. The suspect left the scene, returned with a black and tan rifle, and fired one shot into the air. The suspect then picked the shell casing up and fled the scene in a newer model blue/gray SUV with Mississippi tags.

Suspect 1 was a Black male, 30-40 years old, heavyset, wearing a black shirt, blue jean shorts, blue shoes, armed with a black and tan rifle.
