Aggravated Assault: 300 Block of Thomas Street

On Wednesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 300 block of Thomas Street. Officers were advised that five victims were in a vehicle when two suspects fired upon the vehicle. The vehicle was struck several times. No one was injured.

A 15-year-old male has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder (2X), Aggravated Assault (3X), and Employment of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

The second suspect remains unidentified. The suspect is a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a blue-and-green design and white writing on the front, light-colored jeans, and gray or silver slides. He was armed with a black handgun.
