On July 12, 2026, at 2:37 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of S. Mendenhall Rd. Officers made the scene and observed a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported in non-critical condition. Officers were advised that the suspect was involved in an altercation with two Hispanic males. During the altercation, one of the suspects retrieved a handgun from a light-colored SUV, shot the victim, then fled the scene in the SUV.

Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male wearing light-colored clothing and armed with an unknown handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a tall, thin-build Hispanic male wearing dark-colored clothing.
