On Friday, December 26, 2025, at 2:45 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 500 block of South Parkway East. Officers were advised that the victim was walking across the parking lot when he heard gunshots and was struck in the leg. The suspect was captured on video inside the business before the shooting occurred.

The suspect was a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a Christmas design, and black Nike slides with black socks.
