On January 1, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of West Levi Road. Officers were advised that the victim was standing outside and heard multiple gunshots and was struck. He did not see the shooter. Video captured the shooter firing shots at the victim. He was in a business nearby before the shooting.

The suspect was a Black male with long dreadlocks. He wore a black bubble coat, black jeans, and black shoes.
