On Friday, November 14, 2026, at approximately 1:40 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at 5828 Summer Avenue at the Dollar General. Officers were advised that a male approached several individuals and asked for $2.00. One member of the group made an obscene hand gesture toward the male. The male then pointed a gun at the group as he fled the scene in an older model Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a faded hood.

The suspect was a Black male, 25-30 years old, wearing a red-and-white hat, a gold necklace, a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black tennis shoes.
