On April 21, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at Teon’s Puppy Palace, located at 3424 Winchester Road.

Officers learned that a male and a female entered the store and inquired about purchasing a Cane Corso puppy. The victim brought out two puppies for them to view. While doing so, the pair repeatedly looked toward the front entrance as if anticipating someone.

Moments later, two additional suspects entered the business armed with handguns and took the two puppies. The suspects fled the scene in separate vehicles: a two-door Chevrolet pickup truck and a Chevrolet SUV. The stolen puppies were valued at $2,000 each.

On April 23, 2026, the Mt. Moriah Station Task Force located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at Millbranch Road and Raines Road. Four male suspects were detained. During an inventory of the vehicle prior to towing, officers located three firearms, including a stolen Glock handgun equipped with a switch.

On April 24, 2026, the Mt. Moriah Task Force recovered both stolen puppies unharmed. The puppies were returned to the victim.
