Attempted Second-Degree Murder Suspect Apprehended

On September 26, 2026, officers responded to a shots fired in the 3500 block of Eastline Drive. Officers were advised that the victim had been shot at multiple times during a dispute, and the victim’s vehicle had been struck by gunfire.

During the investigation, 36‑year‑old Branden Scott was identified as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued charging Scott with Attempted Second‑Degree Murder and Employment of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

On September 30, 2026, Scott was located in the 4300 block of Creekwood Drive and was found hiding inside a dryer within the residence. Scott was taken into custody without incident.

A second individual, 27‑year‑old Arian Henry, was also arrested for obstructing the investigation. Henry was charged with False Reporting.
