On April 15, 2026, at 7:20 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at Brown Dog Lodge at 426 South Germantown Parkway. Officers were advised that when the manager came in, the money was missing from the cash drawer. After reviewing video footage from the business, it was determined that on April 14, an unknown suspect was seen using a key to enter the building and disarm the security system with a code. The suspect crawled to the front desk, where the cash drawer was located. He took the money and left.

The suspect was wearing a hoodie, sweatpants, and gloves. The suspect may be a former employee of the business.
