On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 7:06 p.m., officers responded to a business robbery at Family Dollar at 4082 South Third Street. A lone male approached the counter, pointed a two-tone grey and black handgun at the employee, and demanded money. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot with approximately $110 from the business.

The suspect was a thin Black male, approximately 18-24 years old, 5’6 “to 5’9” tall. He wore a black ski mask, a blue and red jacket, light-colored jeans, a black T-shirt, and black shoes. He was armed with a two-tone grey and black handgun.
