On June 10, 2025, at 11:08 a.m., officers responded to a carjacking at the Mobile Gas Station at 850 South Third. Officers were advised that the victim got out of his vehicle at pump #4 when he was approached by a male with his hands in his pockets exposing the butt of a handgun, and demanded that the victim get out the vehicle and give him the keys. The victim ran away from the 2016 RAV 4 towards the store until the suspect realized that the keys were hot inside the vehicle. The suspects begin to run towards the victim, at which time the victim throws the keys. The suspect got back into the vehicle and fled the scene. Before the incident, the suspect was observed walking North on S. Third towards the Mobile Station.

Suspect #1 is a Black male, wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a multi colored jacket.
