On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 5:48 a.m., officers responded to a critical hit-and-run accident at North Evergreen Street and Edward Avenue. Officers were advised that a male pedestrian had been struck by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle may have front-end damage and may have fled southbound on North Evergreen Street. The victim was transported to Regional One Health in critical condition.
