On Monday, July 6, 2026, at approximately 10:35 p.m., officers responded to a hit and run crash on South Parkway East near Worthington Street. Officers arrived and located a male pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. An unknown driver struck him and fled the scene. The vehicle responsible was a gray sedan, possibly a Ford Fusion, with damage to the front driver side. The vehicle will also be missing its driver’s side rearview mirror.
