On Saturday, June 27, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a fatal pedestrian crash at Jackson Avenue and Hudson Street. Officers were advised that an unknown female Hispanic driver traveling eastbound on Jackson Avenue in a blue or black Toyota sedan struck pedestrian Chantell Williams and fled the scene. Williams was pronounced deceased on the scene.
