On July 26, 2026, at 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a burglary of a business at 591 Scott St. Officers were advised that a black Chevrolet Cruise with a black Mississippi license plate pulled onto the lot of Carlos’s Auto Repair. Surveillance video captured two white males, possibly Hispanic, alongside a third unknown suspect, attempting to force entry into the business and steal a vehicle. While the suspects failed to take the vehicle, several other cars on the lot were ransacked.
