On Thursday, August 22, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 443 E. Shelby Drive at the Valero Gas Station. Officers located a male victim inside a black Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot. The victim was transported to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The suspect is a Black male wearing red shorts and a black shirt. He was occupying a Chrysler.
