A suspect has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on January 29 at Supreme and Airways. Investigators identified 33-year-old Martinez Thompson as the suspect. Thompson was charged with Second-Degree Murder, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

On November 12, the Raines Station Task Force located and arrested Thompson, demonstrating the ongoing dedication of MPD in holding violent offenders accountable.
