MPD Supports AFIRM and Memphis Fathers

Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn ‘CJ’ Davis and Mayor Paul Young joined Families Matter to celebrate the latest graduates of AFIRM (A Father’s Involvement Really Matters), recognizing fathers who completed the program alongside their children and families.

AFIRM provides fathers with parenting and co-parenting support, economic mobility resources, and connections to services that help strengthen families.

MPD is proud to partner with Families Matter and support AFIRM’s work with fathers across Memphis. Through community events and outreach, MPD helps connect families with resources and support.

AFIRM has also partnered with MPD on resource fairs, Lunch & Learns, the Purple Unity Project, and Clergy Collaborative events.

Congratulations to the AFIRM graduates and their families!
