On Saturday, February 7, 2026, officers responded to a man down call in the 1300 block of Hyde Park Boulevard. Officers were advised that a female victim, identified as Lajan Grimes, was behind a residence unresponsive. The victim was later pronounced deceased on the scene. Officers on scene determined foul play was involved.
