On October 8, 2025, at 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a robbery of an individual at 550 Uptown Street at the Chick-fil-A. Officers were advised that the victim met the suspect at this location to purchase a car, a black 2015 Infiniti Q50, which he found on Facebook Marketplace. The victim test drove the vehicle and wanted to buy it. He pulled out a large sum of cash to pay when the suspect pulled a handgun and told the victim, “Give it here and get out of the car.” The suspect fled the scene.
