On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at 6222 Winchester Road at the Family Dollar. A male suspect entered without a mask, asked if the business was still open, and then left again. He then returned a little over a minute later, wearing a mask and armed with a handgun. He threatened to shoot the store employee and demanded the money from the business. He received an undetermined amount of cash and fled the business on foot.

The suspect was a medium-built Black male wearing a black ski mask, a black hoodie, gray jeans, and black-and-white shoes.
