On Monday, October 13, 2025, at 9:11 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of East Port Cove. Officers located a male juvenile who was transported to the hospital in non-critical condition. A second shooting victim, a male juvenile, was transported by private vehicle to the hospital, advising that it occurred at the same location. Both victims are currently in non-critical condition. The investigation revealed that Lorenzo Bailey approached a vehicle occupied by three individuals and opened fire. The third victim was uninjured.

Bailey has been identified as the suspect responsible for the shooting. As a result, a warrant for criminal attempt to wit: first degree Murder x3, employing a firearm during a commission of dangerous felony x3, and reckless endangerment – shooting from a vehicle has been issued for his arrest.
