On August 4, 2026, at 4:40 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at 4691 Horn Lake Road at the Lion Mart. Officers reviewed video at this location that showed two suspects firing shots at each other. The suspects fled the scene in separate vehicles. The business was struck by gunfire during the incident; however, no one was injured.

Suspect #1 was a Black male with short dreadlocks tied up into ponytails. He wore a white T-shirt with multicolored designs on the front and back, dark-colored shorts, and white-and-black slides. He was armed with an unknown handgun. He fled the scene in a red Buick Enclave.

Suspect #2 was a Black male with short hair. He wore a white T-shirt, light-colored pants, white and black shoes, and carried a black bag. He was armed with an unknown handgun with an extended magazine. He was the passenger in a silver Toyota Camry with dark-tinted windows and black wheels.
