On May 2, 2026, at approximately 12:46 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at Horn Lake Road and East Grand Heights Street. Officers were advised that the victim returned home and noticed a white sedan parked on the side of the road. The vehicle was on. The victim attempted to get the license plate number from the vehicle when it sped off and fired shots in her direction.

Investigators located video in the area showing a white sedan with a sunroof making a U-turn in front of the victim’s vehicle. The sedan is a newer model vehicle, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Altima, with a sunroof, dark window tint, black rims, and a temporary drive-out tag. The vehicle left southbound on Horn Lake Road.
