Three Identified Gang Members Arrested Following Search Warrant; Firearms, Drugs Recovered

On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the Memphis Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Whiteside Avenue as part of an ongoing gang investigation focused on known gang members.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers recovered:

  • Six firearms, including an AR-style rifle and two reported stolen handguns
  • Assorted rifle and handgun ammunition 
  • Multiple rifle and pistol magazines
  • Approximately three pounds of marijuana
  • Approximately 150 assorted pills
  • $1,500 in U.S. currency
  • Two vehicle programmers
  • Four key fobs
  • One money counting machine

Jerome Davis, 30, was arrested and charged with seven counts of Convicted Felon in Possession of Handgun, Possessing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Prohibited Weapons to wit Machine Gun Conversion Device, Theft of Property to wit Handgun, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Oxycodone, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Amphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Psilocybin, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Suboxone and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Alprazolam.

Antwan Davis, 26, was arrested and charged with six counts of Convicted Felon in Possession of Handgun, Possessing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Prohibited Weapons to wit Machine Gun Conversion Device, two counts of Theft of Property to wit Handgun, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Oxycodone, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Psilocybin, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Alprazolam.

Caleb Wade, 21, was arrested and charged with Possessing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Prohibited Weapons to wit Machine Gun Conversion Device, two counts of Theft of Property to wit Handgun, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Oxycodone, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Psilocybin, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit Alprazolam.

The Memphis Police Department remains committed to disrupting gang-related criminal activity and removing illegal firearms and narcotics from our neighborhoods. This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
