On Friday, January 16, 2026, at 4:09 a.m., officers responded to a carjacking at Fast Trac at 3292 Shelby Drive. Officers were advised that the victim’s 2017 maroon Nissan Rogue was taken by a male known as “J Mafia,” who was armed with a gun. The victim’s vehicle was recovered unoccupied near Holmes and Apollo, a short time later.

The suspect is described as a medium-complexioned male, 30-35 years old, 5’2, 150 lbs. The male was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and blue slides. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.
