On July 14, 2026, the Memphis Police Department arrested two 18-year-old suspects responsible for a series of armed robberies, resulting in the clearance of three separate investigations.

After identifying that the same suspects were responsible for multiple robberies at 6725 Winchester Road, MPD officers conducted proactive enforcement efforts in the area during the early morning hours of July 14.

At approximately 1:47 a.m., officers observed two males dressed in black clothing hiding behind a dumpster south of the Bank of America ATM. The suspects ran from behind the dumpster and approached patrons using the ATM in an apparent attempt to rob them. The patrons noticed the suspects and fled before a robbery could occur. The suspects then returned behind the dumpster to wait for additional unsuspecting victims.

As officers moved in to detain the suspects, both fled on foot. An MPD officer immediately deployed a drone, providing officers with a real-time aerial view of the suspects’ movements. Using the live video feed, officers maintained visual contact with the suspects and coordinated their response, leading to the arrests of Queshawn Partee, 18, and Jayvion Springfield, 18, without further incident. Officers also recovered two firearms.

The investigation linked Partee and Springfield to the following incidents:
  • July 8, 2026 – Aggravated Robbery at 6725 Winchester Road
  • July 10, 2026 – Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Robbery at 6725 Winchester Road
  • July 12, 2026 – Aggravated Robbery at 6725 Winchester Road
As a result of the investigation, Partee and Springfield were each charged with:
  • Two counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • One count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Robbery
  • Three counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony
