History of Violent Incidents Leads to Multi-Agency Operation at Legends Lounge

On August 8, 2026, the Memphis Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit, MSTF, the Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) conducted a joint operation at Legends Lounge, located at 6232 Knight Arnold Road.

The business had previously been served with a nuisance warning letter after becoming the site of numerous violent incidents. Over a two-year period, there were 191 calls for service and 47 reports taken at the location, including aggravated assaults involving firearms, vehicle thefts, thefts from vehicles, and other incidents.  

During the operation, investigators identified multiple criminal, regulatory, and life-safety violations. The Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the business was operating at more than three times its approved occupancy limit. The approved occupancy limit was 99 people; however, more than 300 patrons were found inside the business.  

The Organized Crime Unit made seven arrests. Investigators also recovered illegal narcotics, firearms, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of currency.  

The co-owner, Nickolas Armstrong-Green, 26, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. TABC members also located several boxes of alcohol in the rear of the business, as well as alcohol on tables inside the business that was being sold to patrons without the required state license. TABC seized all the alcohol and issued Armstrong-Green a misdemeanor citation for Unlawful Sale of Alcoholic Beverages. 

Jerrod Cox, 33, was arrested after attempting to flee the scene, resulting in a brief foot pursuit. Cox was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Marijuana, Evading Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts), and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Percocet.  

Two armed security guards, Darius Clark Franklin, 28, and Imad Deumah, 24, were arrested and charged with Failure to Possess a Security Guard Registration Card. 

Wiley Harper, 30, was asked by officers to leave the lot several times. Harper then began causing a disturbance and attempting to incite others to be disorderly.  Harper was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Inciting to Riot, and Criminal Trespass.  

Jarvis Moye Jr., 22, was identified and found to have an active warrant for Theft of Property $1,000 or Less. Moye Jr. was taken into custody without incident.  

Kyra Bush, 21, a waitress, was identified and found to have an active warrant for Failure to Appear in a Misdemeanor Case out of Bartlett, Tennessee. Bush was taken into custody without incident and transferred to the custody of the Bartlett Police Department.
