On April 4, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 1 North Front Street.
This weekend, Memphis experienced four homicides, three of which investigators determined stemmed from domestic violence situations, personal disputes, or conflicts between individuals who knew one another. None of the incidents appear to be random acts of violence or robbery-related.
On May 14, 2026, at 10:27 a.m., officers responded to a theft from a semi-trailer at 4406 Malone Road.
On May 9, 2026, at 1:22 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at 2515 Covington Pike at the Smart Gas Station.
On May 8, 2026, at 10:12 p.m., officers responded to a business burglary at Aldi at 36176 Austin Peay Highway.
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at 6222 Winchester Road at the Family Dollar.
On May 22, 2026, the Memphis Police Department Fugitive Unit located and arrested 19-year-old Jayvon Wilson, who was wanted in connection with two separate shootings that occurred on May 17, including one that resulted in a homicide.
On May 19, 2026, at 2:29 p.m., officers responded to a robbery of an individual in the 3700 block of Voltaire Avenue.
On May 19, 2026, the Memphis Police Department Fugitive Unit located and arrested 28-year-old Maurice Abston in the 2400 block of West Hillview Drive.
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:07 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Taco Bell at 6210 Winchester Road.
